After speculation linking Liverpool’s Ryan Kent with a move away from Anfield, it now looks as though the likes of Rangers and Aston Villa will miss out as the player is expected by some to stay at his parent club.
Kent spent last season on loan at Scottish club Rangers, who are keen to reunite with the man who did so well for them. Newly-promoted Aston Villa also look set to battle it out for the forward’s signature.
However, Rangers boss Steven Gerrard recently told Sky Sports that he expects the player to remain at Anfield for the time being.
Jurgen Klopp, I’m sure, will want to take a look at Ryan so we’ll respect Liverpool’s decision on which direction they want to take on the situation but we are at the table.

Kent has spent time on loan at numerous clubs but only really came to prominence during his time in Scottish football.
Aston Villa are looking to add depth to their squad ahead of a busy season and signing players like Kent could make the difference in survival or relegation.
Should Villa plan to land Kent in any permanent deal, he will cost them around the £12 million mark following his impressive form for Rangers.
