Aston Villa could miss out on a deal to sign Jack Butland this summer due to Stoke City’s valuation of the goalkeeper.
According to The Mirror, Butland appears to be facing another season of Championship football, with Villa and Bournemouth not willing to meet Stoke’s demands.
The report claims that Bournemouth and Villa are both interested in a move for Butland, who impressed in the second tier for Stoke last season.

However, Stoke’s £30m valuation of the England international looks to be putting both Villa and Bournemouth off a deal for the shot-stopper.
Butland is said to be keen to leave Stoke this summer, as he aims to return to the Premier League to aid his international ambitions.
Villa have already signed Jota, Anwar El Ghazi, Wesley and Kortney Hause so far this summer, but are thought to be eager to sign a new number one in the coming weeks.
