Aston Villa are close to wrapping up the signing of Southampton defender Matt Targett.
Dean Smith looks set to add the left-back to his squad in a deal believed to be worth an initial £14 million fee, which could reach £17 million if additional bonuses are achieved.
The 23-year-old has plenty of Premier League experience under his belt and looks likely to displace Neil Taylor in the Villa starting line-up.

Take a look below at what Luke had to say; some of the talking points include his early potential, why he never nailed down a place in the Saints’ starting line-up and just whether or not this is a good deal for Villa.
