Aston Villa will have to pay at least £20 million if they are to lure Neal Maupay away from Brentford this summer.
According to a report from West London Sport, the Bees are reluctant to let the forward leave Griffin Park in the current transfer window and will only be swayed by a big-money bid.
Dean Smith worked with Maupay during his time at Brentford, and speculation regarding a possible move to Villa Park for the Frenchman has developed in recent months.

The 22-year-old was in prolific form for his club throughout last season. He found the back of the net on 28 occasions, and in turn, attracted interest from clubs in the Premier League.
Sheffield United are understood to be potential suitors for Maupay, but Villa’s apparent interest is cited once again in West London Sport’s report.
Wesley Moraes has already arrived at the newly-promoted club in a big-money move, but as Smith constructs his squad ahead of the Premier League season, signing another forward could be on the agenda.
