Aston Villa are thought to be closing in on a deal for Brentford defender Ezri Konsa, according to Sky Sports.
The report suggests that a £12 million move for the England Under 21 international is progressing, which would see the player become Villa’s seventh summer signing.

Villa have already spent around £67 million on six permanent arrivals, with defedner Tyrone Mings the lastest to complete a move to Villa Park.
Konsa could well partner Mings at the heart of Dean Smith’s defence for the upcoming campaign if a deal goes through, with Smith and Konsa previously working together at Griffin Park.
The 21-year-old, who joined the club from Charlton Athletic last summer, looks set to leave Brentford after they signed Pontus Jansson from Leeds United.
Fulham were reportedly keen on the idea of a loan deal for the defender, however, it looks as if a permanent move to Villa Park for Konsa is edging closer.
