Aston Villa are in talks with Juventus over a deal to sign Italian goalkeeper Mattia Perin this summer.
According to Sky Italia, via Football Italia, Villa are keen on a deal for the shot-stopper and are discussing a potential move in the coming weeks.
The report claims that he was poised to sign for Portuguese giants Benfica in a deal thought to be worth €15m.

However, a shoulder injury forced the deal to be cancelled, with Perin now projected to be out until late November.
Despite his injury, Villa are now looking to bring him to the Premier League as they look to improve their squad.
Jed Steer ended the Championship campaign in good form, but Villa have been linked with a number of goalkeepers over the summer and may feel they need an improvement going into the top-flight.
Perin joined Juventus from Genoa last summer and played nine times in the Serie A last season. He has also been capped twice by Italy.
