Liverpool are thought to be considering a surprise move for Aston Villa target Tom Heaton.
According to the Daily Mail, cited by the Daily Mirror, the Reds are interested in bringing the Burnley goalkeeper to Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp keen on adding another shot-stopper to cover the impressive Alisson next season.

Villa themselves have been big admirers of the England international this summer and had a £4 million offer turned down by the Lancashire side in recent weeks.
Burnley are holding out for a fee in the region of £12 million for the experienced keeper, a figure Villa aren’t thought to be keen on paying, especially considering the 33-year-old has just 12 months left on his Clarets deal.
Dean Smith is desperate to bring in a goalkeeper to rival Jed Steer ahead of the new season, however, with Liverpool now entering the race for Heaton’s services, Villa could well turn their attention to alternative targets over the coming weeks.
