Aston Villa have been linked with a move for Galatasaray striker Mbaye Diagne, in a deal worth around €13 million.
The striker, who netted over 30 goals last season in the Turkish SuperLig, looks likely to leave the club this summer, and could before the window shuts on Thursday.

FutbolArena, via the Birmingham Mail, are reporting that Galatasaray negotiator Şükrü Hanedar has travelled to the UK to discuss a potential deal for the player with Villa.
Diagne only moved to Galatasaray last January, helping his side win the Turkish league.
He was also teammates with new Villa signing Trezeguet before this.

This could be a great signing for Villa, if they can get it through before the deadline.
Villa are in need of some depth up top, and Diagne looks like a very solid option who could offer this.
The striker’s goal record in Turkey is very impressive and if he can produce it in England then he could become a bargain buy.
However, it does have to be taken into account that the level in Turkey is nowhere near the Premier League, so Villa fans shouldn’t expect a 20 goal season from the forward.
