Aston Villa went down 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend, but it certainly wasn’t a bad performance by Dean Smith’s side.
Villa led for the majority of the game, and were able to contain Spurs for a lot of the game.
John McGinn may have taken the headlines for his goal, but there was one man who also impressed many Villa fans on the night.

Tom Heaton, the new signing from Burnley, made some fantastic saves to keep Villa in the game, and impressed many fans.
Some Villa fans took to Twitter to voice their praise for the England international.

Heaton looks to be a bargain signing for Villa this season, and looks to the saviour to Villa’s goalkeeper problems of the past.
He made some superb saves, and was unlucky to concede three goals at the end.

The signing looks to be a bargain, considering the flops Villa have spent big on in the past.
For now at least, Villa have a bonafide number one goalkeeper.
