Sampdoria and Torino are both reportedly looking at a deal to sign forgotten Villa man Lovre Kalinic, according to reports from Italy.
According to Nicolo Schira, both of the Serie A sides are looking for a solid backup option, and they believe the Croatian presents a good option.

Since signing last January for a considerable fee, Kalinic has failed to impress at Villa, and is now very much a backup at the club.
Several Villa fans reacted to the reports that he could be on his way out of the club.

Selling Kalinic for any money could be a good deal, especially as he looks to have no future at Villa.
His opportunities are almost nil with Tom Heaton in goal for Villa at the minute.
Kalinic had a horrible start to his career in England and didn’t really recover at all.
Therefore, moving to Italy could be the best move for both parties.
