Mings’ play in his early Aston Villa career certainly suggests he could be a bargain compared to the huge fee paid by United for Maguire.
Considering Villa only paid £25 million and Mings is already in the England squad suggests they might have picked up a steal.
Many have questioned the fee paid by United for Maguire, with the Red Devils struggling for results so far this season.
Mings might not start over Maguire yet, with Gareth Southgate probably being cautious ahead of the European Qualifiers.
