Ex-Villa man Alan Hutton has revealed that he has considered retirement, after not yet finding a club after being released by the club.
Hutton, who was a long term stalwart at Villa Park, has had no offers he considered right for him, as he looks to find a new club after leaving Villa at the end of last season.

Several Villa fans on Twitter reacted to the announcement, with many questioning why he does not yet have a new club.
@Rorschach_69 thinks the player should just go home, saying that he is: ” Surprised he hasn’t gone back to Scotland tbh”.
@MarkPatton7 thinks the player must have too high demands, saying that: ” Must be his wage demands stopping clubs as he is decent on his day.”
@FowlerLegend reckons that he should return to Villa, tweeting that: “bring him back to Villa to learn coaching .. he said the other day were part of him .. he loves the Villa.”
@EliElGhazi also believes this, saying Hutton: ” Needs a coaching role.”

The defender surely will be picked up at some point, because his experience would be valuable to some clubs.
Hutton must be looking for the right opportunity, as a player with his experience in the top flight is surely a big asset to have.
It would be sad to see him retire, but Villa would surely have to look at bringing him in to the coaching setup.
