Aston Villa fans are loving the impact of midfielder Douglas Luiz after his great pass against Brighton in the Carabao Cup.
Luiz, who missed the defeat to Arsenal at the weekend, returned for the cup clash with Brighton on Wednesday night.

The midfielder was part of a 3-1 win for Villa, with Jota, Conor Hourihane and Jack Grealish grabbing the goals for Dean Smith’s side.
Several Villa fans were impressed with the Brazilian’s impact, including his brilliant pass to Jota that almost resulted in a goal.

The midfielder has become a vital part of Villa’s team recently, and his exploits against Brighton again show what Dean Smith’s side miss when he’s missing from the side.
His passing ability is superb, and he was unlucky not to pick up an assist in the above goal.
He should go straight back into the team on Saturday against Burnley, and should again have a great performance.
