Aston Villa put the disappointment of their defeat to Arsenal behind them by beating Brighton 3-1 on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup.
However, they will not have celebrated their progression to the next round of the competition for very long as they know that they have a very important Premier League game at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon against Burnley.
Villa have already been cheated out of vital points this season due to officials seemingly not being able to see clear penalties even while using VAR, so this is has become a game where Villa really need to be picking up all three points.
