Aston Villa fans are celebrating the one year anniversary of Steve Bruce being sacked as Villa boss.
Bruce was sacked on October 3rd, 2018 after a poor run of form that cumilated with a mad 3-3 draw with Preston that saw Glenn Whelan miss a late penalty that would have given Villa the win.

Bruce, who is now at Newcastle, was sacked the day after the draw, with Dean Smith coming in as his replacement.
The rest, as they say, was history.
Several Aston Villa fans have been celebrating the anniversary on Twitter.

REad Aston Villa’s Verdict
Sacking Bruce has to be one of the best decisions the club have made over the past twelve months.
Villa were truely dismal during the end of Bruce’s reign, and the Preston draw showed very clearly what the faults with his team were.
Dean Smith came in and revitalised the team, and put them well on their way to promotion.
Imagine if Bruce hadn’t have been sacked? Villa certainly wouldn’t have been a Premier League club.
