Wolves and Aston Villa are set to battle it out for Bolton Wanderers youngster Dennis Politic in January, according to Football Insider.
Politic has impressed many this season, despite Bolton’s off the pitch issues that have seen them remain rooted to the bottom of League One.
The midfielder has reportedly caught the eye of both Villa and Wolves and has scored two goals so far this season.
Politic is a former Manchester United winger, and was drafted into the Bolton first team after a successful spell at Salford City last season.
He has also appeared for the Romanian Under 17s squad previously.

The winger could be a great youth signing for Villa, but it is unlikely he would quickly be drafted in to the first team.
It is more likely that Villa will continue to scout Politic, and allow him to pick up more gametime in League One with Bolton.
