Tyrone Mings is reportedly set to make his England debut in Sofia later, with Gareth Southgate handing him his first cap against Bulgaria.
The defender is set to be handed the start after England fell to their first qualifying defeat in ten years last week, with the Czech Republic running out 2-1 winners in Prague.

The news has obviously gone down well with a lot of Villa fans, with many now asking why he wasn’t handed the chance sooner.

However, some fans were doubtful that the appearance will be good for Villa in the long term.

The defender being handed a start just shows what a good start it has been so far this season for Villa.
It may also be down to the awful defensive play from England against the Czechs.
So if he impresses, a more longterm spot in the side may be coming.
