Aston Villa’s John McGinn has been named in FIFA 20’s team of the week after his hat-trick against San Marino in the week.
The Scot scored his first career hat-trick to lead Scotland to a huge win over the international football minnows, earning himself a spot in the team of the week.
McGinn has been a revelation since signing for the club from Hibernian last season and has started this season as he ended his first campaign with the club.
Villa fans have been reacting on social media to the news, with many very happy that the Scot is getting the recognition he deserves.

McGinn has been superb so far this season, so the award is very well deserved.
Here’s hoping that this is the first of many in form cards for McGinn, and who knows, if he keeps it up a team of the season may be in the offing.
