Chinese authorities have reportedly put out an arrest warrant for controversial former Aston Villa owner Dr Tony Xia.
The Mirror has reported that the former Villa owner has several unhappy investors back home who bankrolled his purchase of the club in return for promises of promotion and financial returns, only to be left with nothing.

These investors are now chasing their money back, with the authorities posting an arrest warrant and posters for Dr Xia.

A reward of around £30,000 has reportedly been put out for information on Xia’s whereabouts.
Dr Tony, and his company, Recon Group,have been sued for breach of contract and non-payment of debts.

This is another twist in the Dr Tony Xia saga that has seemingly kept on going ever since he took over the club.
Villa are in a lot better place since their former owner left the club, which has seemingly been the best thing to happen since the appointment of Dean Smith.
His decision to bankroll a promotion bid on parachute payments backfired horrifically, leaving Villa on the brink of administration.
