International break is over and it is now time to return our attention to the Premier League.
Before the two week hiatus, Aston Villa played Norwich at Carrow Road and blew them off the park. Everyone put in a top quality performance and Norwich, who had beaten Man City a few weeks earlier, just couldn’t handle anything that Villa threw at them.
Dean Smith’s men scored five goals, but they could have had two or three more if we are being perfectly honest.
Next up for Villa is a home game against Brighton. After the last match, they will be quietly confident that they will be able to pick up some more very important points.
A win could see them move into the top half of the table, but, more importantly, it could see them create a nice cushion between them and the relegation zone.
