Aston Villa made it two Premier League wins in a row thanks to a late Matt Targett goal against Brighton last weekend.
However, they are going to have to be at their very best this weekend if they want to make it three wins from three.
That’s because they have to travel to the Ethiad to take on Manchester City in Saturday’s early afternoon kick-off.
Whereas many won’t be expecting Villa to return to Birmingham with any points, Dean Smith will be confident that his side can cause City a number of issues.
We all know that City are great in attack and can blow any team away, but they have been very circumspect in defence this season.
Villa have a very talented midfield and we will be surprised if they don’t make City’s defenders sweat.
