Aston Villa have been handed a potentially big injury boost, with Jurgen Klopp revealing that Joel Matip and Naby Keita are set to miss the clash with Dean Smith’s side at the weekend.
Keita picked up an injury in the penalty shootout win against Arsenal in midweek, whilst Matip has been absent since the 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

In his pre-match press conference, Klopp confirmed that the pair are huge doubts for the trip to Villa Park.

This is a big boost for Villa, especially with Matip being out of the clash.
The defender has been in superb form as of late, and should be a big miss for the Reds this weekend.
Keita has had several injury troubles since moving to the Reds, so this injury is yet another blow for the midfielder.
