Aston Villa’s survival chances took a huge blow on Saturday afternoon after Watford ran our 3-0 winners at Vicarage Road.

Adrian Mariappa was sent off for the Hornets, but Villa were simply unable to get past Watford throughout the game.
Several Villa fans took to Twitter to voice their frustrations with the performance.

Despite the big win against Norwich on Boxing Day, it was very much back to reality for Villa this afternoon.
It doesn’t look good if they can’t trouble Watford, a team also in the bottom three.
Questions have got to be asked across the board as to where Villa go from here.
