Aston Villa’s record signing Wesley could be out for the entire of the season, according to reports.
BBC Sport reports that there are fears that the striker could miss the rest of the season after picking up a knee injury in the win against Burnley.

The Brazilian was involved in a challenge with Burnley’s Ben Mee, which resulted in Wesley being forced to come off in the game despite scoring the opening goal.
Club officials believe that Wesley could have cruciate ligament damage, which would see him miss the remainder of the season.
Villa also lost Tom Heaton in the win, who will also have scans to determine the seriousness of his injury.

This could be a huge blow for Villa, and force their hand in the January window.
With only Jonathan Kodjia and Keinan Davis as the remaining strikers, Villa would certainly have to look for another option in the window.
Therefore, a striker with a bit more experience may be needed.
