READ ASTON VILLA VERDICT
Whilst Manchester City are still a brilliant side, they have shown this season that they are capable of being beaten. Pep Guardiola’s side have lost five games in the league, including away to Norwich – who are currently 20th. This shows that Villa do have a chance of picking up a result if they can play to their absolute maximum throughout the 90 minutes.
The likes of Jack Grealish and Tyrone Mings could have a great opportunity to put their names in Gareth Southgate’s thoughts ahead of the next international break. If they can catch the eye against a side as good as Manchester City, it could put them in good stead with the England boss.
