Aston Villa have registered their interest in Napoli striker Fernando Llorente, according to a report on Area Napoli.
The forward has been told by Napoli boss Gennaro Gattuso that he does not intend to use him for the remainder of the season.
The thought of the former Tottenham Hotspur man at Villa Park is not appealing to these fans…

Llorente played in every single UEFA Champions League group stage match for the Serie A side this season, finding the net once.
With it looking likely that he isn’t going to be getting much playing time in Naples, it seems a sensible target for Villa, especially with Wesley out for the rest of the season.
However, as the fans rightly pointed out, Llorente isn’t blessed with the gift of pace, which is something that they so clearly need to trouble opposition defences.
