Tottenham Hotspur winger Steven Bergwijn will be fit for the Premier League clash with Aston Villa, according to a report on football.london.
There were injury fears regarding the winger but the report confirms that Bergwijn only suffered from cramp during the 2-0 victory over Manchester City last weekend and should be available for the match with Dean Smith’s men.
The Dutchman was forced to miss Tottenham’s FA Cup fourth-round replay against Southampton on Wednesday evening because of the rules of the competition stating that a player can only feature in a replay if he was eligible to play in the original tie, which Bergwijn was not.

Villa host Spurs on 16 February in a crucial match at both ends of the table and players from both squads have plenty of time to recover and rest ahead of the clash due to the winter break.
Villa are currently involved in a tense relegation battle whilst Spurs are pushing hard for a top-four finish.
We believe that having Bergwijn fit could be a boost for Spurs because he’s likely to be full of confidence at the moment. He netted on his debut for the club during the victory over City and we feel it may be a difficult task for Villa’s defenders to handle the 22-year-old because of his dribbling and finishing, which WhoScored list as some of his main strengths.
