Aston Villa are monitoring the progress of Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth, according to a report on Turkish Football.
The Palace attacker is currently on loan with Turkish side Trabzonspor until the end of next season and Villa have been scouting the striker.
Sorloth has been in incredible goalscoring form so far this term, netting 21 times in all competitions in Turkey.

Villa were reported to have had scouts in attendance during Fenerbahce’s clash with Trabzonspor last weekend, with one report saying they were watching Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi.
However, they are now also understood to have been keeping a watchful eye on Sorloth, who managed to score and also register an assist in the 2-1 victory.
Villa recently signed striker Mbwana Samatta and he has made a flying start to his career in England, netting on his Premier League debut.
Sorloth was disappointing during his time at Selhurst Park. However, he seems to have regained his confidence and the fact that Villa are monitoring potential future arrivals is something we’re very happy to hear because it shows that the club has some sort of plan.
Whether he is the right man to target or not is a different discussion, but at the moment, there’s no doubt he’s one of the most in-form goalscorers in Europe.
