Turkish giants Fenerbahce have set a €35m price tag on in-form striker Vedat Muriqi, according to a report on Calciomercato.
As stated by the Italian news outlet, the striker is being closely watched by Premier League sides Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Burnley.
Villa reportedly sent scouts to watch Muriqi in action during Fenerbahce’s clash with rivals Trabzonspor last weekend, a match that they went on to lose 2-1.

Muriqi has found the back of the net 13 times in all competitions this season so we understand why the Turkish club value him so highly.
Furthermore, he is contracted at the club until the end of the 2023 season, meaning the club have no obligation to let him go before then, so they can ask for whatever fee they desire.
Whether Muriqi is actually worth €35m is a different question, but the fact that Alexander Sorloth, who also plays in the Super Lig and has eight more goals than Muriqi, is available to buy next season for only €6m, shows that maybe he isn’t.
We feel that Fenerbahce could be using this valuation as a way of putting off the multiple clubs monitoring the Kosovo international and with Villa’s current financial difficulties, we believe that there is no way the club could meet that asking price.
