Tottenham Hotspur are set to welcome back three players for the Premier League clash with Aston Villa this Sunday, according to a report on The Express.
Jose Mourinho’s men recently defeated defending Premier League champions Manchester City in north London whilst Villa fell to a defeat at the hands of Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth.
Spurs were required to play in midweek last week against Southampton in their FA Cup fourth-round replay, a match which the London club won 3-2.
They were without Erik Lamela, Giovani Lo Celso and Ben Davies for that clash, but as reported on The Express, all three could be back for the match at Villa Park.

The return of the trio is bad news for Villa because it means that Mourinho has more quality players to choose from for the matchday squad.
Spurs have had to use Jan Vertonghen as a full-back recently and have also relied on the young shoulders of Japhet Tanganga, but the return of Davies means that it could be a much more familiar looking back four for the visitors at Villa Park.
However, we feel having Lo Celso back is the most positive news for Mourinho’s side because of his 49 recoveries defensively and his 346 passes in only 15 appearances.
These statistics seem to show that Lo Celso, who recently signed on a permanent basis at the club, is important both offensively and defensively for Spurs, who we feel will try to dominate the ball and stop any quick counter-attacks from Villa.
