As stated in findings, the Tanzania international now boasts a total of 1.6 million followers across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, whilst Kenya midfielder Wanyama comes in second place with over 900,000 followers.
The Premier League side signed Samatta on a four-and-a-half-year deal from Belgian side KRC Genk last month.

As reported on BBC Sport, the striker became the first Tanzanian player to ever feature in the Premier League during Villa’s 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth earlier this month.
Along with gaining the player’s goalscoring ability and talent, Villa have also acquired an army of new supporters, as can be seen on virtually any of the club’s posts on Twitter.
It also appears that playing in the Premier League has earned the 27-year-old plenty of new fans and scoring on his league debut seems to have helped his popularity amongst the Villa Park faithful.
Spurs man Wanyama recently welcomed Samatta to the top-flight and wished him the best of luck and we sincerely hope that the Tanzania captain can help Villa to a positive result against Jose Mourinho’s men at Villa Park this Sunday.
