Aston Villa fans can’t believe that the group of players including Neil Taylor and Henri Lansbury won a training match.
The squad is currently gearing up for the Premier League clash at Villa Park on Sunday against Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur.
Villa are currently in a tense relegation battle whilst the visitors are pushing for a top-four position, making this encounter crucial at both ends of the league table.
The north London side emerged victorious in the reverse fixture in their first match of the season, with Harry Kane netting a late brace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Aston Villa’s official Twitter account posted a picture of the winners celebrating at Bodymoor Heath, which included Pepe Reina, Bjorn Engels, Henri Lansbury, Neil Taylor, Trezeguet and Marvelous Nakamba.
Many fans replied to the picture with surprise that this group of players managed to emerge victorious, with some fans even speculating who they came up against.
