In April 2019, Jack Grealish inspired Aston Villa to an important away victory over Rotherham United in the Championship.
The win helped Villa move back up into fifth place in the table and was the team’s seventh consecutive victory in the league (BBC Sport), leaving them four points behind rivals West Bromwich Albion.
Dean Smith’s side played almost 60 minutes of the match with ten men after defender Tyrone Mings was sent off in the first half for two bookable offences.
After going down, Villa struck back quickly in the second period, completing the turnaround just six minutes after the interval.
Grealish’s balance and awareness during the goal was admirable, as is Ahmed Elmohamady accurate cutback to the Englishman.
Many Villa fans on Twitter still look back at the match and the goal with happiness and pride, with some even feeling that it is one of the best goals Villa have ever scored.
