Aston Villa fans are impressed with Jack Grealish’s mentality heading into the Carabao Cup final clash against Manchester City.
Grealish started again as Villa fell to a 2-0 defeat against Southampton, with manager Dean Smith not happy with the performance at all.
The boss has revealed that he is ready to drop some of the players who started against the Saints for the clash with Pep Guardiola’s men at Wembley, but we expect Grealish won’t be one of them.
However, for Grealish’s standards, it was a pretty quiet afternoon for him.
The playmaker only played one key pass in the entire match and only had 61 touches of the ball, which is just four more than goalkeeper Pepe Reina (WhoScored).
One Villa fan account on Twitter posted Grealish’s thoughts regarding relegation and the cup final and many other fans were happy with how his mindset is ahead of some crucial matches.
