Many Aston Villa fans have been left in stitches after a Birmingham City fan was handed the ultimate birthday shock.
The two teams, who share a fierce rivalry, currently play in separate divisions after Villa got promoted to the Premier League last year.
The two sides had some epic encounters last season, with the match at St Andrew’s famous for a fan running onto the pitch and hitting Villa captain Jack Grealish.
The playmaker had the last laugh as he continued playing and netted the winner to send the away section wild.
One Birmingham City fan, who was celebrating his 50th birthday, received a cake decorated with the Championship club’s badge and colours.
However, when cutting out the slice, it was found that the sponge in the cake was made using claret and blue – Villa’s famous colours.
A picture of the cake was uploaded onto Twitter and many Villa fans have flocked to the post to provide their reactions, with many admiring the idea.
