Aston Villa boast an illustrious history and the club have had some great teams over the years.
However, things haven’t been so good in the past two decades or so, with Martin O’Neill’s Villa side the last one to make a real impact in the top-flight.
Under the former Celtic boss, the West Midlands outfit were in Europe, reached cup finals and competed to finish in the top four, so there are a lot of good memories for the fans from that particular period.
And, one of those came 13 years ago yesterday, when Villa came from behind to beat Blackburn 2-1 at Ewood Park – with the club looking back at the game on Twitter.

A goal from Patrik Berger brought Villa level before Gabby Agbonlahor scored the winner in the second half.
