Aston Villa produced a superb performance against Arsenal on Sunday night, beating Mikel Arteta’s side 3-0.
Dean Smith’s side arrived at the Emirates Stadium off the back of defeats to Leeds and Southampton, which ended a sequence of four wins in a row at the start of the Premier League season [Transfermarkt], but a Bukayo Saka own goal and a brace from Ollie Watkins saw Villa bounce back in style.
Smith opted to go with his tried and trusted starting XI for the game, leaving out the likes of Conor Hourihane, whilst Trezeguet returned to the starting line-up in Bertrand Traore’s absence after the latter’s injury last week against Southampton [as per Sky Sports].
Jack Grealish continued to captain Villa and it was another influential performance from the England international.
