Aston Villa could loan out Jacob Ramsey when the winter transfer window opens, according to Birmingham Live.
The 19-year-old made his first team debut back in 2018/19 and is described as having a ‘big future in B6’, but he may benefit from getting first team football elsewhere for the second half of the season.
The playmaker spent the second half of last season on loan at Doncaster Rovers, scoring three goals in seven appearances, but he looks set for a Championship move this time round as a number of clubs in the second tier are reportedly monitoring his progress.
Ramsey scored 16 goals and supplied four assists in 38 games for Villa’s under-18s, with eight goals and seven assists in 27 games for the under-23s, while he has made seven appearances for his parent club at senior level. [Transfermarkt]

Dean Smith handed Ramsey a start in three Carabao Cup games in the autumn while bringing him off the bench in September’s 3-0 win over Fulham for his Premier League debut.
The 19-year-old successfully married club development with competitive Football League action last season, so that could be the ideal course of action once more in the New Year, except this time at a higher level.
In other news, Aston Villa may have to fend off widespread interest in one of their rising stars.
