Aston Villa could loan out Keinan Davis when the winter transfer window opens but are unlikely to do so given a lack of centre-forward cover, according to Birmingham Live.
The 22-year-old finds himself behind Ollie Watkins and Bertrand Traore in the pecking order, but he is still making the matchday squad under Dean Smith and may be required in a backup role. Whether Davis is happy to spend the campaign sitting on the bench is another matter, though.
Since making his Villa debut in 2017, the centre-forward has gone on to make 71 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and supplying six assists (Transfermarkt). Davis has had four appearances across the board this season, scoring one goal and supplying one assist, but he has only amassed 28 minutes of Premier League football in the current campaign (Transfermarkt).

Watkins has been a regular in attack, scoring eight goals and registering one assist in 12 games this season, while Traore has featured in nine games under Smith and contributed two goals, so there has been no room for Davis.
Villa can’t afford to let him go without a striker coming in the opposite direction, though, so it may be better that he isn’t loaned out in January.
In other news, Aston Villa are set to sanction a January loan exit for one talented youngster at the club.
