Jack Grealish extended his contract with Aston Villa in September which has four-and-a-half years to run, but his future at Villa Park remains in doubt. Manchester United have retained an interest from the summer and Todofichajes claimed the Red Devils are in advanced talks over a deal.
The 25-year-old has an asking price of €80m (£72.1m) which United are reportedly willing to pay in January, so a move could be on the cards in just a matter of weeks. Villa have shown no desire to sell Grealish and aren’t obligated to cash in for financial reasons, so it all depends on the player.
The England international has made 11 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring six goals and supplying six assists. In his 10 Premier League outings, Grealish has created 29 chances, completed 29 successful dribbles, whipped in 33 crosses and is the most fouled player in the division (46). [WhoScored]

Why Villa would let their best player leave midway through the season defies logic.
They need not rush into selling Grealish as he seems happy at Villa Park and has a long time left on his contract, so it’s not worth losing sleep over Todofichajes’ report.
In other news, Dean Smith has two key decisions to make ahead of the Burnley game on Thursday.
