Bertrand Traore and Anwar El Ghazi each had a hand in two goals as Aston Villa enjoyed a 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Sunday night, but Jack Grealish was praised by many for his performance at The Hawthorns.
Grealish has made 13 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring six goals and supplying seven assists, the latest of which was for Traore’s goal last night. He is having an outstanding campaign under Dean Smith and ran the show against West Brom.
Against West Brom, the England international played for 90 minutes, had 97 touches, completed 87.8% of his 82 passes, created eight chances, had one shot which hit the target, whipped in two crosses, had four successful dribbles and won a penalty which El Ghazi converted. He had more key passes, successful dribbles and touches of the ball than any other player on the pitch. [WhoScored]
Grealish was outstanding, such is the norm this season, and his efforts weren’t overlooked by these Villa supporters, one of whom said he was “unplayable”.
Grealish, El Ghazi and Traore class tonight. Another clean sheet, 3 points on the road and another local Derby win. Merry Christmas villa fans! #AVFC

Traore's best game for us by a mile looks like he is starting to settle in nicely 👊. The penny seems to have dropped for Ghazi and has finally realised he has to work hard. Grealish was outstanding again. Easy win in the end over a very poor baggies #avfc
