England lost to Italy in the final of Euro 2020 and Jack Grealish is one of many players who will be disappointed that he couldn’t lead the Three Lions to glory, but he’s been given a lot of support on Instagram from family members, internet personalities and the son of a former England international.

The 25-year-old made five appearances in the tournament but only amassed 173 minutes of football. He still managed two assists in the limited playing time offered but may feel he deserved more minutes on the pitch than Gareth Southgate gave him.
Grealish scored seven goals and made 12 assists in 27 games in all competitions for Aston Villa last season, but Southgate still didn’t trust him enough to start him regularly. Instead, Mason Mount was chosen for the final and Grealish had to make do with another cameo from the bench.
Despite this, sister Kiera, Chunkz and Romeo Beckham appreciated the playmaker’s efforts and hailed him on social media, which Grealish thanked them all for. Now he can have a short summer break before returning to finish pre-season ahead of the upcoming campaign.
