Kortney Hause is waiting on making his first appearance for Aston Villa this season, but he’s in good spirits if his Instagram story is anything to go by. The 26-year-old used his down time outside of training at Bodymoor Heath to watch emerging artist IThinkThatsRio record a music video and posted some footage on his social media.

IThinkThatsRio is an East London rapper who is rising in popularity after his ‘Prayer’ freestyle. He’s since released a debut single ‘Afro’, so his career is going in the right direction. The 20-year-old’s connection to Hause may stem from him training to become a professional footballer before opting to go down the music route – he’s followed on Instagram by Hause and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Hause was enjoying the shoot and put up some clips for viewers to enjoy, but he’s now got to focus back on football matters. The former England youth international was an unused substitute alongside Axel Tuanzebe in Villa’s 3-2 defeat to Watford and may be left on the bench against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
