Aston Villa host Burnley at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon and Matty Cash posted a picture on his Instagram one day before the Premier League meeting.
The 24-year-old impressed in Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Norwich City and should be excited to face Burnley as Villa are favourites to win and have a chance to finish the weekend third in the table.
Villa are coming off the back of four wins from their last six league games and face a Burnley side sitting 18th in the table without a win in their previous five, so Cash and co. should be confident of picking up all three points.
The 24-year-old has made 18 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring one goal with one assist. He’s regular for the Poland national team and has played every minute of every game since Steven Gerrard took over.
Cash has been reliable at right-back and is hitting new heights in 2021/22, so he’ll be key to victory on Saturday. Burnley may struggle to contain his lung-busting runs down the flank and will need to stop him getting balls into the box.
