Aston Villa supporters have one more day to wait before the club discover their full 2026/27 Premier League fixture list.
The Premier League has confirmed that all 380 matches will be published at 10:00 BST on Friday, June 19, giving Villa their domestic roadmap for a season that already feels loaded with opportunity and pressure.
For Unai Emery, the timing matters. Villa are preparing for another Champions League campaign, the UEFA Super Cup against Paris Saint-Germain and a later-than-usual Premier League opening weekend on August 22/23 because of the World Cup.
Villa’s calendar is about more than opening day
Supporters will naturally look first for the opening fixture, Boxing Day, derby dates and the run-in. But the bigger picture is how the league schedule lands around Europe, recovery periods and a summer that still includes transfer decisions.
Villa have already started shaping their build-up, with pre-season fixtures against Walsall, Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach on the calendar before competitive football returns.
The fixture release will not decide Villa’s season, of course. Emery’s side have made a habit of turning difficult stretches into statements. But it will show exactly where the pressure points sit.
For a club now living with Champions League expectation, Friday’s list is not just a set of dates. It is the first clear shape of another demanding Villa season.
