Crystal Palace face a tricky test against Aston Villa on Saturday, but it’s a challenge that Alan Pardew’s men will be up for.
Looking to bounce back from the unfortunate defeat to Arsenal on Sunday, the Eagles will bring their pace, alongside slick football, to the table when they face Tim Sherwood’s side on Saturday.
Just like when anyone asks who Palace’s main threat will be, you have to look at Yannick Bolasie, especially if he is match fit. Wilfried Zaha will also prove to be a tricky opposition, as well as the fact that Villa’s midfield will be looking to keep Yohan Cabaye quiet. However, for chance making, Bolasie is the main threat. Keep him quiet, you’ve done well.

The Eagles will be hoping to have a much more positive start to game compared to the start they had against the Gunners. The opening 20 minutes from the hosts’ perspective was slow and very sloppy. If the start is anything like the same this time round, Villa will be hopeful of exploiting that and taking their chances, something Arsenal failed to do until later into the half.
Apart from that, this game has the potential to be quite even. Both teams have started their seasons well and maybe with home advantage, Palace could have the edge.
However, we’re adamant Pardew will want a reaction from his team following the loss on the weekend, and if they turn up, the Eagles could soar to three points.
