Aston Villa: The Official 25 man squad

Tim Sherwood has selected his 25 man squad for the new season after the transfer window closed on the 1st September, whilst also confirming squad numbers for all the senior players.

New loanee Tiago Ilori has been assigned the number 2 shirt, whilst the likes of Charles N’Zogbia have been given a place in the squad after failing to agree an amicable departure from Aston Villa in the transfer window.

Since Tim Sherwood’s arrival Swiss International, Philippe Senderos hasn’t had any involvement in the first team, that trend is seemingly going to continue with the 30-year-old not being given a shirt number nor being registered for at least the first half of the Premier League season.
