John Percy of The Telegraph has reported that Villa starlet Adama Traore is on track to become Villa’s highest earner after signing a contract that pays depending on the 19 year old’s performance.
Aston Villa shelled out £7m during the summer, signing a deal worth £40,000 a week salary, which could potentially almost double to £75,000 a week with reports suggesting it could be activated as early as after appearing in 10 games in a claret and blue shirt.

Adama Traore has struggled to settle into the first team due to injury after coming up against an aggressive Notts County in the Capital One Cup. However, the Spanish U19s international is seeking to play against Southampton and hoping to impress caretaker manager Kevin McDonald who has a good reputation with developing young players.
Villa are still looking for Tim Sherwood’s successor and with Remi Garde being a big favourite with the bookies, it seems that Adama could be a big part to play at Aston Villa in the future, despite the big wage packet.
