Aston Villa are likely to sign a new kit deal with American brand Under Armour for next season, which will replace current kit sponsor Macron, according to the Birmingham Mail.
The deal comes as the current four-year kit deal with Macron is coming to an end, and with a new hierarchy in place at Aston Villa, it seems that they’re trying new markets to help develop the commercial arm of the club by trying to take advantage of Under Armour’s wish to expand into the Premier League market.
The American based company is huge in the States, sponsoring many NFL teams across the pond and also venturing into the Premier League market in previous seasons, sponsoring Tottenham since 2012.

The deal should help meet Randy Lerner’s aspiration of the club being self-sufficient, not having to rely on his own investment on a yearly basis.
The Macron deal is said to be worth £15-million over the four years, a club record.
