Brad Guzan’s career in a Claret and Blue shirt looked all but over after a string of poor performances this season under both Tim Sherwood and Remi Garde, but Guzan has been given hope this week after Remi Garde has stated that he hasn’t ruled Guzan out completely from the starting 11.

Club Call have reported that the American International still has a chance to beat Mark Bunn to the number 1 spot for the rest of this season.
It comes as some have singled out Mark Bunn as at fault for some of the goals conceded at the weekend against Liverpool, despite the all round poor team performance.
Brad Guzan was brought to Aston Villa by Martin O’Neill in 2008 from Chivas USA for a small fee and has been at the club ever since.
The club let the players contract expire when Paul Lambert joined the club, but the Scot was sure to convince him of first team football and he resigned shortly after being released.
